How many of you can't control your spending? Do you spend and spend and spend to make yourself feel better, or to fill some void in your life? Are you a packrat with an unsatisfyable urge to hoard junk that you don't need? Are you building so much debt that you can't pay your bills, and if so, why don't you stop spending??

Personally I'll never understand this mentality. I'm a minimalist. I buy ONLY what I need to fulfill my daily living needs. I don't buy junky knick-knacks that only clutter living spaces. I never run out and buy the latest expensive electronic gadget "just because". My thrills come from hoarding money and watching my bank account grow and grow...money in the bank really gives you peace of mind.

I don't see the need to get into debt. I buy what I need and sometimes what I want but only if I can pay for it all at once. If you wait a little for the newest electronics the prices will go down drastically. I do have a small collection of giraffes but none of the expensive ones yet. I would rather have a few nice things than a lot of junk or a lot of nice things and be worried about how to pay for them. I have no credit cards and will never have one, they just get you into trouble even if you have the money as some unexpected expense happens to all of us once in a while.
