In the browser menu bar:
Click on Tools.
Select Internet Options...
Click on the Advanced tab.
Scroll down to Java (Sun)
Deselect "Use JRE x.x.x"
Close all instances (i.e. all windows) of the browser.
Restart the browser and see if that fixes the problem.

When you get to the screen where you're choosing which room to go to, there's a drop down for window size on the right top. You have a choice of 640x480 and 800x600.

Sorry to tell you but that's how yahoo made it the only thing i can think of is making the text bigger on your Internet browser it might change the size of the board as well

You could try using View Text Size or use your wheel mouse with the shift or control button to zoom. You can tweak it a little.
