Perhaps the question is why are you on Yahoo Answers at this time of night?! I find I am staying up to 2 am on Yahoo Answers before I realise it!
Perhaps you have been spending too much time on YA, and so need to catch up with your work?!
If you are self-emplyed then, you do need to spend time etablishing your business, and there is nothing wrong with hard work, but there does need to be balance.
We always need to balance work, play and sleep and it is not easy to achieve the right balance. Hope you manage it!

Hope this helps:>)

I am too, sort-of, I have time to be on here too, just waiting for the clock to change so I can turn off the open sign. Occassionally I will get a late customer or can help a customer on the phone or catch up on paperwork. Basically because our hours are posted whether we need to be here or not and theres potential to make additional money during this time.

Because you accept the hours of service. If you don't want to work at night, find a job that is done during the day. I suspect your job can be performed under sunlight or even under artificial light, yes? So for what are you waiting? Find a daytime job.

because your strong in your work ethic. I am self employed as well and work VERY long hours. Sometimes 130 hr weeks. I haven't had more than 3 days off in a row in over 10 years. It's hard but keep it up. It does pay off.

working at this time would only be bad if you were working for someone else. I find I get most of my admin done at this time. even though I am doing this in between. What do you do?

money? i'm guessing you have bills to pay :-)

When you are rich and can retire early, days/nights like these will be a distant memory.
