Headlice are nasty little parasites that are becoming more resistant to the usual treatments. I would advise that you comb the wet and conditioned hair to remove live lice, treat with conventional insecticide and if u use hair straighteners, the very high heat will kill remaining eggs glued to hair. This has worked with my own children. I only needed to do this once as fortunately they were not reinfected.
