Yep. I do that a lot. You see, one day, the aliens were after me again. (Bob and Jim- you should meet them. They're really nice to people who don't have a blood debt to settle with them...) And when I went into my cellar, there was a power outage, and it went dark. They were already halfway down the stairs, but they turned around and by the time the power came back on, I had escaped out the coal chute. So I figured out that on their planet, they must have very bad night vision. Thus, the next day I smashed every light fixture in my house and threw all my flashlights into the fire. (I also got rid of all my matches, lighters, etc.) Ever since, I've just been eating lots of carrots so I can do Sudoku in the dark. Last time I left the house, it was '89. Most of the neighborhood thinks it's abandoned... Must be the boards over the windows. Realators have tried to sell it seventeen times already... It's kind of amusing to watch the buyers run screaming when I make ghost noises from inside.
