Lets say you were at the hospital to see a sick friend. Now, ask you walked down the hall you heard yells muffled yells coming from behide a curtain in the across the hall...you sneak over to look and see a man trying to suffocate his already dying wife with a pillow. Would you say anything? stop him? laugh and join in? yell? Bite that MotherF****? Punch him? Show him the correct way? What would you do?

Well, let's see. If you know the woman is already dying, then you probably know her, otherwise, she is just somebody in a hospital room to you. And that must also be how you know the man is her husband, not just some good samaritan trying to relieve suffering.

But do you know if she has a DNR sheet (Do Not Resuscitate)?

Like a previous poster said, this is more a Morality question than an Honesty one. Morally, I'd slam the door to get his attention that he has been seen, then walk away. Since I already know that it is him and his wife, he'd recognize me. If the woman then turns up dead, I'd rat him out and testify against him.

I would beat the hell out of him until he is unconscious, drag his body into the hallway. By then I'm sure I would receive enough attention to get the nursing staff and police involved.

If it was my Dad suffocating my mom, I would help.

I don't think I would say anything, but I would go and tell someone. Why? because he could be crazy and need to be hospitalized himself. If he would be doing it so that his wife doesn't suffer, then the hospital can do that for him. (lay her to rest) that is.

I would scream for help and try to stop him. God is the only one who knows when our time is up. Let life run its course til the very end.

I would do none of the above. I would scream security, and let them handle this man.

Push him, call for a nurse, and then call for a security officer.

That wouldn't be a test of honesty..... more a test of morals.
