Yikes! Don't worry about my opinion...read what the E.P.A. has to say:

I'm always suspicious of inhaling a product that causes death if you eat it.

No. Do not use them. My husband is a fireman and he has put out many house fires caused by glade plug ins. Any other type of plug in is just as dangerous as well. They stay hot at all times eventually causing too much heat in the electrical outlet. Before you know it a spark ignites the electrical wires and causes a fire. Hope this helps.

Anybody using the Glade Plugins needs to go online and do a little research. They are an extreme fire hazard!!!!!

I don't use them since I don't like any artificial scents - they make me nauseous.
If you like a mild scent, try some essential oil candles or beeswax candles.
Some companies now make room sprays with essential oil fragrances. You could also order your own oils and disperse them in water and spritz around the home.

How sad am ?!!! Love them - have one in my kitchen and one in my hallway. Got one of the battery operated skooshy things in the bathroom too!
However, I agree with the above messages - they don't seem to last long (1 per 3 weeks?) and refills are expensive.

I like them but don't use them because I saw a report on TV that they are responsible for alot of house fires. So if you use them be careful. Air fresheners that you don't plug in are alot safer.
