That is a really dumb idea. There is nothing for children to do in the adult community of Las Vegas.

Head south to the Hoover Dam, then keep going to the Grand Canyon.

One of my good friends' grandson lives in Las Vegas, there is nothing for him there. It is totally boring.

Visit Connecticut. Mohegan Sun is close to many wonderful sights in the state. Aquariums, museums, amusement parks, beaches. But spend the late evening at Mohegan Sun, while the kids are asleep.

Ummmmm well there ARE things for kids to do in Las Vegas, but the city isn't really geared toward young children. There is the Circus Circus. They have the adventuredome there which is basically an indoor theme park but your kids might be too young or not tall enough for that. Circus Circus also has the carnival type games they can play.

Most of the hotels have great pool areas . We no longer have Wet n Wild here so that option is out.

If I had a choice I would go somewhere like Disneyland but I don't know the circumstances of why you chose Vegas. Someplace else would be much more "kid friendly". Las Vegas did not get the nickname sin city for no reason.

One thing I must warn you about is while walking on the strip people will be standing there trying to hand you flyers for strip clubs or private escorts. Tourists in turn throw these flyers on the ground so just about wherever you walk you will see flyers of half-naked women on the ground. I'm not sure if that's something you want your young children to see???

Lived in Vegas for a short time and there is so much to do besides the gambling thing. Make sure you have a pool at your hotel, that is always a winner and there is beautiful hiking trails west of Las Vegas (very short drive). There is a marshmallow factory (been there - would be fun for a preschooler) that offers tours and free marshmallows. There is also a chocolate factory that makes various candies. Another fun tour for preschoolers. Get a Las Vegas tour book or look online and you will find so much to do. Have fun.

Your kids will be bored and you will be tired of the hassle if you stay a week. Las Vegas is changing back to being for adults. Kids aren't supposed to be anywhere in the casinos, so you will have to avoid that area when you walk through. Stay at Circus Circus, or Excalibur because they were designed with kids in mind. Spend lots of time at the pool, and rent a car so you can get away from the strip and the casinos. Vegas is not for kids.

A good family hotel is Circus, Circus. It's getting pretty old, but they have circus acts (free) every hour. Jugglers, trapeze artist, animals, etc.

Be sure to take them to the Hoover/Boulder Dam. They have guided tours that take you under the dam itself, and you can see the generators. On the way out/back from the dam, I remember some kind of fort or old town, or something. That might be a place your kids would enjoy. Off the top of my head, I can't think of much more. The hotel will have pamphlets with suggestions of what to do.

Have fun!!!!

Whats not to do it is my fave city there are shows ( hit the disc tkts by the giant coke bottle) there is gambling ( hit the casinos off the main drag if your going for profett or hit the main casinos if your in it for the atmosphere. the waters at the Bellagio the Star Trek ride at the Hilton ( also get disc tkts at the coke for this) the food both cheap and expensive are wonderfull really foot long hot dogs downtown for a buck also see the overhead video light show downtown the freemont street experence. go to Ceasars palace see the talking statues and great shops eat a pastry at a sidewalk cafe inside NYNY. I could go on for hours but get the what to do books for cupons and ideas when you get ther and spend the first hour just looking at the ads for what you like best.

wow...with kids that young stay off the strip. Circus Circus has some things to do. Swimming is always something to do.

But Vegas is NOT for kids, they tried to change it a number of years ago but didn't work. I agree with the other poster. If you can, leave them home

Monumental waste of money. Four preschoolers and you're looking for things to do in Vegas? Save your money, stay home, and do something productive.

stanleys_2001 said it better than I.
