WTF its about some mom who can't do her work because of a damn spacebar, what is this? This is lame!!
Anyway: my question is: What do you think is the lamest news ever? Not that the spacebar one is, its just an example.
Here is another one:
Some kids got a action figure, and a piece of glass set at a 45 degree angle in front of a security cam, then they put the action figure and dangled it around. It looked like a ghost walking around a junk yard. It made national news- yes, national news as "Hard evidence" of paranormal activity. Man that cracks me up

I don't know about lamest news story, but the first one you mentioned sounded more like a segue into a story about computer hardware. It is a device to draw readers in.
