a friend of mine is taking birth control..ortho trycylon..her period did come normal but now she has been spotting for 2 and half wks after her period...she says she took her birth control pills wrong...and that they gave her the wrong pills...and doesn't know if she should start off with the new pack..i keep telling her to see a doctor but she's making excuses...now is it the pills that makes her spot ..is she pregnant or is her body allergic

Wow she should definitely go to the doctors and talk to them about it.. sometimes birth control pills can make you spot and they can mess with your hormones, so she should get everything straightened out.

It could be that she doesn't have enough estrogen! I did the same thing, and I was on the same bc pill! I talked to my doctor and he switched me to yasmin! Tell her to talk to her dr. and tell he/she the problem and they might switch it!
