Need to know anything about 1982, and things that happened in the news during that year. I am looking for things that happened in October and on the 18th of October of that year too. Looking for movie prices,milk,gas, and what was going on then.

There are many searchable sites for newspapers that you can read online - I use them going back into the 1700's!

Find a paper and just read the news and the advertising. You'll have neat stuff for your project. Be sure to pick the country and region you wish address - "news" and prices vary, of courze!
