Im a new grandmother and they like to drop the kids off for the day what are some good tips to keep the house clean and it nott getting out of control?

have one day clean the entire house-sweep, mop, dust, laundry, etc. and when they come over be very strict about stuff like out things back where you found them wen you done and wash ur own dishes wen ur done etc

Don't keep it too clean. Research has shown that kids growing up in steriley clean homes tend to develop more allergies than kids who grow up where their homes aren't real clean. This is because in dirtier homes they build up resistance to stuff but in overly clean homes they don't get to.
So all you need to do is keep the clutter organized (small or breakable stuff out of reach) and just clean minimally. Strive for "good enough"; not for perfection. Life is for living; not for cleaning.

A place for everything and everything in its place before they go home. (Plastic bins are great for keeping organized) And remember, before taking out a new toy they must put the old one away first. There future spouses will love you for training them early.

TRY TO DESIGNATE A ROOM FOR THE KIDS LIKE A PLAY AREA...MY MOMS A NEW GRANDMA TOO BUT ITS HARD TO KEEP UP WITH THE MESS, MY BABY HAS TOYS EVERYWHERE...JUST TRY TO KEEP EVERYTHING IN THE SAME PLACE AND TELL THEM TO PICK UP AFTER THEYRE DONE PLAYING WITH ONE THING... AND YOU CAN REWARD THEM AFTER THEY HELP YOU...BUT THE PARENTS SHOULD HELP TOOOOO!!!
