The fact of the matter is that they are raised in a great number of areas of the USA, but Georgia gets all of the press. The further north you go, the more likely a years crop will be ruined by a late frost. Areas near large lakes tend to negate the damage of a late frost and you will find peaches plentiful around the Great Lakes and the finger lakes region of New York. They are also grown in irrigated ground in the american west.

Largely the SE part of the USA...georgia and SC are large areas for them.
