What do you believe in? What's the "meaning of life" for you?

The most important thing is to breathe, and enjoy that you were given a life.

After that, I believe this:
Learn as much as you can. Have fun as much as you can.
Be yourself, and strive for the truth in everything.
Live your life by loving and forgiving others, no matter what someone does to you or may happen or how much a person drives you up the wall.
Be open minded. Respect that others believe different things that you do. Don't judge people.
Don't purposely hurt anyone, regardless of what reasons.
Accept what you are given, and do the best that you can with it

Those are just a few of the things - but I'm sure you get my point :)

Live and let live
John 5:23-24

"That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life."
The hope of the believer is not in envy of the seeming prosperity of the wicked, but in the righteous expectation of God's promise being fulfilled. The flesh of this life is temporal, but the Spirit of life within the believer is eternal. And in truth, the only time when man will find true meaning to his life, is when he spends it in service to God.
Proverbs 23:17-19

I have this on my wall, I have it in my wallet
There was a song of it on the radio when I was a kid, besides the "GoldenRule"
This is a good place to begin.

Go placidly amid the noise and the haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence.

As far as possible, without surrender,
be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly;
and listen to others,
even to the dull and the ignorant;
they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons;
they are vexatious to the spirit.

If you compare yourself with others,
you may become vain or bitter,
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your own career, however humble;
it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.

Exercise caution in your business affairs,
for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is;
many persons strive for high ideals,
and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection.
Neither be cynical about love,
for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment,
it is as perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of the years,
gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.

Beyond a wholesome discipline,
be gentle with yourself.
You are a child of the universe
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God,
whatever you conceive Him to be.
And whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life,
keep peace in your soul.

With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.

I have recently started to realise that I don't really have one, and that is very very difficult. I could say that I am actually trying to find out the meaning to this all but that would be too vague.
I suppose my current philosophy is that I don't have one. Poor me...

Do what you have to do and find the meaning in life using logic and rational thinking without relying on the opinions of those you didn't seek them from.

Live this life the best you can, because you don't get another shot at it. Leave the world in a better shape than you found it.

The answer is in your question. What do you believe in? Have you ever loved someone? If you have, you know that you "believe" in them...they can transcend any problem. You know they will survive. You know they will "make" it. You admire them. You know they will be successful. You believe in them, because you love them. Believe in yourself. One must love him/herself first. What obstacles are in your way???

I just think that people should treat people nicely. That's pretty much it. Finding someone that I love and settling down would also be ideal.
