looks seriious, dont waste time. if a cham is hot it doesnt lay upside down on the cage bottom with half closed eyes. this is bad
ASAP give it some water in mouth, or water with honey. it will not drink on its own, so misting is of no use. the eyes you describe
mean she is not well. dont force her to eat, however.
most probably she wants to lay eggs - give her a large pot with slightly wet soil - i say slightly!! and put it in, but she may not be able to lay them, or may be she starts diggiing and will not finish -digging is a clear sign of pregnancy. so if she doesnt lay anything , take it to vet. but make sure the vet is knowleageable about reptiles!!! the vet is supposed to give fluids to boost metabolism and hormone shot to help the eggs come out. is the belly bloated?
what is the color of the animal - darker or lighter than usual. dark-stress, illness, discontentment light - close to fainting.
good luck, i hope she will have the strength to lay the eggs and get relief.

sounds like she is very sick. Veilds won't lay on the floor unless they are really bad off. I figure she aint gonna make it. Once they reach that point they usually don't live. Try water by mouth. Veilds come from the highlands of Yemen and do not tolerate very high heat. They need a good misting morning and night or a dripper system to drink from.

You ought to get him to a well reptile vet. chameleons can cross downhill relatively rapidly. By the time their eyes appear sunken, it's probably too overdue. How historic is he? The issues I had with one in every of my chameleons became ot to be historic age.

Sounds like she is sick. Usually when chameleons are overheated their mouths remain open.
