Need hotel in Barcelona, Spain?

Going on a cruise from Barcelona, Spain in Oct. and wondering about reasonably priced hotels in the area and possibly close to dock.

WE went on a cruise LAST October out of Barcelona and I used the internet and found a really nice hotel called the Vincci Maritimo Hotel

We wanted a hotel not far from the cruise port, since we would be going on a Mediterranean cruise the next day. The service was good, and the room was very modern and comfortable. It was located on a quiet street in a residential neighborhood, but walking distance to services. We walked to a nearby mall where we had dinner and shopped a little. We also walked a couple blocks to the sea. It is near a bus line and the staff in the hotel was great. The hotel has a restaurant but we did not eat there because there were plenty of eating places close by.

look for hostels instead, they are much cheaper adn they are for young people travelling. go to hostels.com and you should have no problem finding one. and there will be maps so you can find one close to the water.
