Different music does different things. There is music that melts the heart, music that melts the mind, music that makes your feet dance, music to bang your head to, music that isn't music at all...
Music that is the soundtrack to your life

It speaks to my heart. I listen, really listen to it. I hear the words, not only the music, and it all combines to create this lovely feeling inside and i love it. it means so much to me.
i really feel sad for people who only listen for the noise. they miss out on a lot and are subjected to the worst kinds of "music". I mean no disrespect, nor do I think i am any better, just more appreciative. i have also tried to learn to play musical instruments, now i appreciate even more the beautiful sounds of music.....

It speaks to your SOUL, Heart, mind, spirit and it can make you feel cold or hot. Like you are falling, connected with the world, in another world, confused. It can be enlightening, entertaining, sad, happy, funny...
It can tell a story (like Mansun's great "Attack of the Grey Lantern")
It can teach us things too.
Music can make you feel like dancing.
It can give you strength and make you want to go on with life if you are depressed. It makes you feel less alone.
Music can be very soothing.
It can have words or no words at all. It can be the sound of a cat purring or your fav. rock band. It can me violin or drums...
My fav. is alternative rock, pop metal, and progressive rock.
Mansun, Savage Garden, Scorpions, and Def Leppard are my favs!!!!!

Music is one of the most fundamental expressions of human emotion. It is an outpouring of ones' very soul. I myself can most easily relate to instrumental forms of music more so than vocal forms of music. Classical, and New Age, as well as nature sounds I find to be the deepest forms of music.

Yes music touches my heart. I love anything that has some kind of junglistic sounds. Tribal sounds, indian sounds........Something that sounds like it came from the earth itself.
I also like Tool and music that makes me think about who I am and who everyone else is or could be.

both. Sometimes my heart and sometimes just noise. I take music very seriously though. It's more therapeutic than anything else in my life.

It depends on the type of person. Some people "feel" music....others only "hear" music.

people listen to music to reflect their mood, almost as reassurance that they are not alone, some listen to music because they think it makes them cool, some just dance to it, but i like hardcore and emo, because i find a lot of unseen and unrecognized talent in it.
