I've heard lots of things about Mel Gibson, but this is the first time I'v ever heard anyone say he is Jewish.

Wikipedia states, Gibson is traditional Catholic and his wife is Anglican.

A person inherits Judaism from the mother .
Mel Gibson's mother was Anne Reilly Gibson from Ireland who was most likely Catholic although I haven't seen it stated.


I find it interesting how that when anti-Israelism is at its all time high in 50 years, Mel Gibson is plastered on the news for saying things almost everybody else has been saying openly in the streets since the Lebanon conflict started.

I haven't met a single person who thinks Israel is not at fault.
