pour a level slab with 4" of concrete exceed the size of the shed by about 4" so if you..

Buy a "kit" or check out Tuff Shed dot com. Most kits from Menards, Home Depot have step by step instructions to get someone with a brain through the project. Some kits have pre-built frames so all you need to do is stand them up, measure the correct distant between each frame and put some bracing across them while you are squaring the building, to square the building measure the distance from each of the opposite corners. It should be equal. A-C should be equal to B-D Where
AD
BC

then sheet, shingle it, trim it and paint it.

If you decide to build it yourself you need to have the right tools and have the know how.

I have built two sheds in my time, If you want to have a fun family or friend weekend, puchase a kit, have the materials delivered, order some pizza and pick up some beer and invite some people over to help you. I built my 12x20 shed in a weekend with the help of my sister. Fortunately, i had my dad as the supervisor on the project sitting in the lawn chair. He couldn't do it because he just had double knee replacement surgery. I credit all the time i spent as Dad's Gofer in my ability to attempt any project in the home except major plumbing and/or electrical. I will however install ceiling fans, etc. without fear, as long as i can turn off the power at the main breaker. The shed building projects were infact fun. Although i will offer one word of advise when building a shed,,,,,,,Always wear long pants when installing the shingles on the roof or you will get "Roof Rash" on your back side from scooting around on the roof.

You probably lack the skills necessary to erect a building from scratch, kit or otherwise. Try making something small first to familiarize yourself with the tools If you are confident that you can do this, there are several good shed designs in the back issues of Popular Mechanics. Another source is to purchase plans, these should be more detailed, and contain materials lists.

This is very easy question. You should have skills and proper materials regarding it. Without the proper kits you cannot build it. You should have good experience of making sheds and you should do it carefully. I have presented the link below in the source box. Check it, I hope it will be fine and easy for you. Good Luck.

That's a pretty general question do you want to build from scratch, or assemble a kit? Do you want to put it on a concrete slab, or a framed floor? Check out Lowe"s or Home Depot, they have kits and plans available for you to choose.
