Why don't they try being responsible and using birth control instead. Abortion is murder as that is or will be a living, viable person. You can hear the heartbeat within the first few weeks.......and the scar is not on the body but on the mind years later when you regret that you killed that child and have no way of getting it back now. If someone had cared so little about you as a fetus you would not be here now asking such a ridiculous question.

With a mind like a 6 year old, she did not know what she was doing. She was probably scared shitless. Someone either raped her or took advatage of her with her mental illness. A CHILD with a MENTAL ILLNESS is not able to consent to sex - so no matter what the situation was, she was raped/molested/sexually abused. Its a sad sad world. In terms of the abortion, thank god. Adoption is better in some cases...but not all. There were 2 different independant opinions which stated it would pose serious dangers to her mental health and wellbeing, well beyond the normal dangers of pregnancy and childbirth. Thus the abortion was done for medical reasons, not for convinience (although yes, for a 12 year old, it is convenient as well). If a 30 year old was told she would die if she would progress through the pregnancy, then its ok to get a medical abortion. What is the difference here? She had 2 expert opinions stating it would pose a serious risk to her health and well being. I see no difference. The abortion was done on a medical need. I dont see anything wrong with it.

Aside from murdering an innocent life, abortions can scar the uterus in a way that can render the girl unable to have children later in life. The procedure is painful, and the after effects are painful as well.

Abortion is not a viable means of birth control. If a person doesn't want to have children, there are other methods of birth control that are fairly effective. Abortion is a surgical procedure and it has long-lasting consequences, both physical and mental. Not to mention that it is killing a new life which is separate from the mother.

You mean use murder as a form of birth control? Killing a baby so girls don't have to be responsible? Kill a baby that could be the love of your life just so you can continue your promiscuity and sleeping with anyone you choose, instead of making yourself an honorable, moral, and decent person for your husband?
Unbelieveable. Prostitution, being a hooker, and I think those sex slave houses are looking for workers. Sounds like your career choices are limitless. Something you can be proud of.

You guys keep on saying that a girl should be responsible and not kill her baby, but what if that girl was raped and as a result ended up pregnant. I believe it is all up to the girl and who are we to pass judgement on to another person. Isn't that God's job.

Because it isn't birth control and shouldn't be used as such. Some of us want to keep the life we created...
