call your local paper and see if they are hiring paper boy/girls.. find out what the route is.. start with your home town paper and be sure to let your parents know what your plan is so they can supervise you during the early morning or afternoon of your route.. also you can travel with other kids to get your route done.... but first see what your local papers are and then call them up and inquire.

Ask an older newspaper carrier in your area if you could help him for awhile and learn how to fill in for him when he's sick or on vacation. That way you'll learn his route and he may even give you some papers to deliver close to your home. Then when he's too old for his route, you can take it over for him.
