this is the worker who "crates" or boxes specific areas on a building site ready for concrete to be poured into.

when the wood is removed you are left with a construction which is the exact shape and size of the area which was shuttered!

Shuttering carpentry i believe is making all sorts of moulds if you like for the pouring of concrete and other similar materials for foundations and structures. If you want to make a pillar of concrete for instance, you cant just pour the concrete, you need to make a "mould" which is usually made of ply and other timber for the frame, which is then removed once the concrete is set.Hope that helps you understand

Shuttering is the wooden framework of a mould for concrete. Obviously making such a framework requires woodworking/carpentry skills.

Shuttering is wood that is put round a driveway, for instance, before concrete is laid. The shuttering holds the concrete in place while it sets
