Get some clean soft clothes and equip yourself with a vaccum cleaner to get started.

I dont have extra fan in my cabinet and my computer gets so hot and sexy somtimes, so i have removed the side portions of my cabinet to keep it cool and i have also got the same problem.

In at least a week, i equip myself with vaccum cleaner and soft clothes to bust out all the dusts like gh0st-busters do :))

I have bout 5-6 fans in my case including the PSU and when I clean my fans out it's usually with the anti static cloth that came with my Thermaltake case or sometimes a toothbrush lol believe it or not. Technically you should have an air compressor you can buy at PC shops. Other than that I do give it a good blow with my mouth.

Get a 10oz can of Dust Remover. Use a vaccum that has a soft bristle attachment Use a vaccum that blows. For me the can of Dust Remover works best. DO NOT! shake the can while spraying your computer with the Dust Remover.

Get some compressed air like "Dust-off" at Longs Drugs or Walgreens or Home Depot, you need to be 18 to buy it though, because the solvent inside is used to get high.

Open the case and use compressed air to remove the dust. If you have never cleaned out you system before, it might take a couple of cans to blow out the dust.

Carefully. Use compressed air to clean the heat sinks and use swiffers (or whatever brand) to clean the blades of all fans.

i simply open it up, get a regular hoover, and start sucking the dust out of there, of course make sure the pc is off

and i am not saying that for fear of electric shock, i take my pc apart while it is on plenty of times, but when your sucking the dust out of the fan, the suction may try and reverse the rotation of the fan, potential damaging it.

so just turn off and suck away

With the PC off, dust off what you can reach easily with a small soft brush. (watercolor brush?) and blow the remaining dust off with a can of compressed air. Then clean up the bottom of the PC.
