Marriage takes a lot of work to keep things going. You will need to remind yourself to find something nice to say about her each day. Compliment her when you can. Begin to go on dates again. Buy her flowers. It may encourage her to start to make some moves of her own. You both need to remind the other why you married and why you are still married.

Over 70% of marriages fail and the reason is probably because most couples forget that marriage is like a job...you only get good at it if you are willing to work hard, put in the time and look for creative ways of doing the same thing different ways. I would suggest that you look for things that she enjoys now. People change and if you don't keep up with the changes you can grow apart. Find hobbies that you can do together and enjoy each other's company. 14 years is a long time. Probability is she is asking the same question - how can she make you love her. But the fact that you are together says alot about your love and committment to each other. Good luck.

I am in the same boat, but, I am going on only 6 years, and I am the woman. Alot of his stress is financially, and alot of him changing. Just try and be there for support, let her know how much you love her, let her have her space, make supper with a beautiful candlelite, and I think a good idea would be to take her to the places where you both fell in love with in the beginning to stir up them old feelings again. 14 years is a long time to just blow off without trying very hard. Remind her that some people do not even fall in love at all and you should be so fortunate to have found each other. You cannot make her love you, but it is worth it to try and you will know that you did all in your power to be with her and you will have no regrets! all you need to do is almost die. She will then realize how much she really cares. Believe me, it happened to me and renewed my marriage!
