Do you wish to change anything about your predicament?

My current career position is a direct result of larger plan, a little chance, and a few circumstances. I started the job I'm in as something to pay the bills while I was in college, and I just kept getting promoted. As the job was directly related to the field I wish to pursue, I kept at it.

It's not a great job by any stretch of the imagination, but it fits the bigger picture of where I want to be in the future and will bolster my resume. The only thing I would change about my job is to continue to move up.

Circumstance?

Chance?

A job seeker craves not these things.

Complete chance and circumstance. Granted, I'd been in the medical field for 10 years when the opportunity came up but if anyone had told me that I would start my own business from the experience I'd gained over the years, i would have laughed at them. As for changing anything, absolutely not! I work from home and am able to care for my 1 month old child and for our 11 and 6 year old kids when we have them.

A combination of planning, thought, preparation, hard work, and marry that with the opportunities that came along that looked good. Chance and circumstance are always there, but you have to be prepared (like have the qualifications) to take advantage of them. Yes there are things i'd like to change.

Both. I am very good at working with middle to lower middle income children. I like teaching them their first admendment rights and responsibilities. I was at one point told that the middle to upper middle could use me as well, so I tried that. They were not appreciative and I lost my job, so I had to look for a new position. I am now teaching my native language which has nothing to do with my studies in first admendment rights, but I find I enjoy teaching it even more. I would if I could change the amount of monies a teacher makes if I could.

My current position is the result of too much thoughtful planning and not nearly enough direct action. I've got the planning part down; it's the actual accomplishing that eludes me.

For me, it's all chance and circumstance. I finished school in Radio, Television and Film, worked in TV for a year and a half, got laid off, went to retail, went part-time in TV (with retail), refused full time in TV, went into computers with a trucking co., after 8 years, got laid off, went into Banking (in computers) and now I'm in Communications for a bank. No planning here, but I'm VERY content where I am. Life truly is a journey.

Pure chance. For the most part I like what I do; some of that is "the devil you know," but I'm actually well suited to it. There are other jobs I could enjoy, but the "ick" factor for many of them is higher than for what I do now, so I doubt I'll change drastically.

my life is a blessing by the hands of God. I finished college have a degree have a great job I love. I was a single parent of two girls through the whole thing, I payed for my education, struggled a lot because of some bad choice I made. God makes a way for us to go and its up to us to choose. It took me a lot of praying to get me through. God is my rock, my foundation, my strength. Everything I went through the stuggles, no knowing where and what to do at times, made me into the women I am today. I love the Lord I love my life and I have learned to praise him through the storms. I am blessed.
