2pac was not in a gang, i don't know where ppl get there info from if you read his bio you will know exactly what happend and yes he did have beef with notorious pig ooops did i say that i meant notorious big, biggie had 2pac shot the first time around saying that he didn't have nothing to do with it but there is proof that he did, so when pac found out the truth thats when the east and west coast war began and thats when everything got a little out of hand, biggie had some crips do his dirty work, when he did have the balls to do it himself, but just read his side of the story then you will find out what really happend.

LAS VEGAS (CNN) -- Tupac Shakur, the rapper whose raw lyrics seemed a blueprint of his own violent life, died Friday from wounds suffered in a drive-by shooting. He was 25.
Shakur, his mother at his bedside, was pronounced dead at 7:03 p.m. EDT at the University Medical Center in Las Vegas, according to hospital spokeswoman Nancy Collins.
Collins said doctors determined Shakur died from respiratory failure and cardiopulmonary arrest. The rapper had been in a medical-induced coma after having his right lung removed earlier this week.
Shakur was hit by four bullets September 7 as he rode near the Las Vegas Strip in a car driven by the head of Death Row Records, Marion "Suge" Knight, who was slightly wounded. It was the second time in less than two years that the rapper was gunned down.
The Las Vegas attackers got away, and no arrests have been made.

mobb deep robb'd him he blamed biggie ... biggie got upset and made fun of him that he doesnt know who shot him ..... then got involved in a blood crip beef ..... shot by crips who blamed biggie paid for the hit .... months later biggie was gunned down

There are many theories about why he was shot. He rapped about anything/everything. Before his death he rapped about his death though.
Some theories why he was shot:
He wanted to get outta the spotlight (hes alive!)
He tried to leave his gang.
Etc... No one knows why/who done it.

he was shot cuz he was in a gang and in case if u dont know when u in a gang ppl have beef with u and also since he was turning into a star alot of people get jealous
