Im 7 months pregnant, and since I was about 6 months, penetration has been a little painful. The doctor said Im carrying low, but its so irritating. Am I the only one who cant enjoy penetration while Im pregnant?

It was horrible when I was pregnant. I guess everyone is different because some say it is the best while pregnant. Not me. It hurt and I was on a strike. Very irritating.

I was also of the group that voted for no sex while pregnant (after the first trimester). It was just very uncomfortable to me and it did hurt at times. I asked my doctor about it (not knowing if this was "normal" or not) and was told, if it doesn't feel good, then don't do it. Both are supposed to enjoy the sex and if you both don't then it's not making love anymore, it's just giving relief to the other person and there are other ways of doing that until after the baby is born and you recover! Very blunt, I thought!
I felt sorry for my husband, but then again, why should I be put through pain?
So in answer to your question, no you're not the only one that didn't enjoy the penetration while being pregnant, and I'd guess there will be many others!

I had my son just 2 months ago. And when I was once again allowed to have sex while pregnant {i was on total bed and pelvis rest from 26 to 35 weeks and in hospital one month of that} it was very uncomfortable. I didnt enjoy sex at all. You might want to try different positions and if you are still having pain and are uncomfortable talk to your partner I hope that he'd be understanding.I personally delivered just shy of 36 weeks and when we began having sex after the baby was born I still didnt enjoy it. Alot of it after the baby was the stress and that I was so tired. Good luck to you and best health to your baby.

No! Sex is so nasty to me when you're pregnant I have 2 kids and I didn't have sex when I was pregnant with either of them passed the 1st trimester.

no you are not the only one. Once I got to a certain point in my pregnancy intercourse was just downright uncomfortable. There are other things you and your partner can enjoy besides that....don't worry it doesn't last forever.

No you are not alone. I experienced this with all of my pregnancies but mostly with my first & second ones. With my first it hurt me from before I even knew I was preggo. Just happens that way for some of us.
