Does ephedrine count? A few years ago I got hooked on an ephedrine pill I started buying at the gym in the "health" section. My heart would pound horribly and I got jittery when I worked out. I had to quit taking it.

No I haven't, but I can see how one could become addicted to zanies, or other calming drugs, after all we live in a society, that has a pill for every little headache.
