Turn on your heels and walk away from the racist. It's not worth the argument and harassment.

They seldom change attitudes because they usually take it from their parents and grandparents. A lot of times their peer group dictates attitude to these low-lifes and they fall in with the crowd because they are easily accepted for who and what they are.

It's much harder to be accepted by an upright group than it is by a group having fewer morals and principles.

Point out to this person or people that you think what he/she is doing is racist and you do not like it.

You may get an apology. Perhaps this person is unaware that what he/she is saying or doing is racist.

You may also get a nasty remark back. Be prepared. Some people do not like being called racist, especially in public. I probably wouldn't go any further because this time the racist person will not back down.

Give your opinion and remarks as calmly and coolly as you can. Be as polite as you can. Then, walk away. You will be the better person.

I would be very upset. I can't stand bigotry, rudeness or arrogance. I would try to ignore it if it happened occasionally but if it happened a lot throughout my life I'D PROBABLY END UP KICKING THE S**T OUT OF SOMEONE. Sorry. I shouldn't have said that. Setting a bad example. I'm not really a violent person. As a mature adult I would always maintain my calm and composure and just feel sorry for the racist scum.

yes I am white, yes I see where people are racist
black to white, white to black....I even see pics of
Jesus white and Black...Think about where Jesus
was born...God's Son was both black and white...
sorta bronze...color gives no boundries for criticisim
in any race. I came from a non racist family, but I married
a very racist family...it has been very difficult to train my
children not to be racist. But the war is not over yet....
My family all knows not to be racist around me. Yes it
is painful when someone slings racist slurs...think of Jesus
then rethink your question....what would Jesus do is your answer!

Walk away from this person and if it continues, report it because it is a crime and nobody should hurt someone else's feelings. It doesn't matter what a person looks like on the outside it only matters what's inside. If that person can't see that it's their problem. They'll find many people who are nice and aren't white or black or good looking.

Unfortunately we are all going to suffer from racism/prejudice - some to stronger degrees than others. The best you can do is to rise above the insult and to do your best not to do the same to someone else down the road!

Living a good life is the best revenge.

Just do not have anything to do with them. Ignore them.
You may think that I would not do that if I were in your place, but do you you think that I do not want to scream at blacks that make slurs toward me? But I don't.
But I can toward people of my own race, why is that?
