If you want to spend some $ then Proactive is the best one around. My mom used it and it is awesome!
if you want to spend less $ then Clean and Clear is the best! I use it everyday and it is just amazing how it works!

If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.
For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.

Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.
Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:

Beginning in the morning, wash your face using Neutrogena's Hypoallergenic Facial Soap Bar and rinse with warm water. Rinse your face one last time using cold water to close any open pores. Next, take the juice of an actual lemon (not the bottled kind) and dab it on your zits. Leave the lemon juice on all day and repeat the cycle before bedtime. Your face should clear in no time!!!

I use Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash. You're supposed to use it twice a day. It smells great and leaves a fresh feeling. It really works well. I've only been using it for about 2 days now and it's mad such a big difference. (Yes, I know, I sound like a commercial).he-he

change your diet, everything you eat comes back out of your skin. Eat alot of raw vegies, (research "raw food diet") and drink at least 8 glasses of water every day. No fried food, no greasy food, be healthy and excercise. Wash your face morning and night but choose a cleaner that works for you, some can clog pores making acne worse, or dry out your skin so much your skin will produce more oil making acne worse, pick one that you like, sometimes if your skin is really oily than maybe you like cleaner that drys alot. Also research different types of skin conditions, not all blemishes are acne and may need to be treated differently. Ask dermotologist, or research online. Keep your hair clean and your pillow case clean, and find a relaxing activity to reduce stress in your life. Dont go crazy popping zits, if you need to just put tiny pinhole (sanitize pin first w/ alchohol) in white head to drain white stuff by putting slight pressure around zit, don't squeeze, and don't squeeze untill it bleeds, it may take 3-4 days to drain 1 zit, just let out what natually wants to come out each time dont force it all out. Some people say proactive makes your skin worse for the first 2 weeks or so because all the stuff is coming out of your skin causing breakouts, and people also say that after continued use of proactive it makes your skin thin and bad, and then you have to keep using it or your skin will break out again but its making your skin thin and bad, you can try for yourself, if you like it then thats fine but just beware,, I've heard rumors that p diddy is suing them now cause he said it made his skin worse. And most important don't focus on your skin too much focus on improving your life, for example if you want to play drums than practice drums, if you like to write poetry, write poetry. If you like football, practice football. This will make you happy and successful in life, zits are less important.

I use Neutrogena products to cleanse my face. Because I'm prone to breakouts, I find that I can't use your typical moisturizer so I use pure aloe and vitamin E capsules at night before I go to bed. The vitamin E helps to clear marks left by blemishes.

Have you tried ProActiv? It works really great for my friends, but it depends on what type of skin you have. I use Oxy pads, but if your have sensitive skin and don't use a moisturizer it can really dry you up. Just remember to change your pillowcase every couple weeks. It helps me out a lot.
