How long will it take before i get a job response?

I am currently working for a small accounting field. I have put in applications everywhere and i still am getting no respone (its been 3 weeks). How long will it take before i hear something

What you should do is FOLLOW UP! Call the place you sent an application to and say something along the lines of "hello, this is (insert name here). I recently sent in an application for a job opportunity that your company has listed as available. I was wondering if you had an opportunity to review my application (or resume)." You can add other things, but the key thing is to follow up! This will give them the impression that you are interested! Make yourself stand out and make them remember your name. Good Luck!

You may never get an interview. I would have someone look over your resume and cover letter to make sure its ok.
