I think the housing price will always go up as the population is always going more and more and people dont have enough place to live and as all the needs r becoming more and more so the chances r few that prices will go down

If my money was in UK property i would be pooing my pants by now.
You can all argue that with the population growing, there is a shortage of property.
How much money do you think these newcomers can afford to spend on mortgage repayments?
Answer buggar all they are all from Eastern Europe and what little they earn either goes back to there families or into there savings account to be spent in Eastern Europe later

There was a report last week on the evening news that the housing market had bottomed out. Realtors are lowering prices and offering other incentives to sell houses here in Atlanta.

So long as there is a housing shortage prices will keep going up.
And there will always be a housing shortage if we allow too many people to come here for the "easy life".

I doubt if there will be a crash, as you put it, but it will certainly have to level off at some point. It will probably depend somewhat on what the Fed does with the interest rates.

The fact that you are asking this question tells me that it won't be long coming.. I have an Edwardian townhouse one block away from the prom in Llandudno in North Wales, and I'd sell it tomorrow for 225,000.
