MK6: The President speaks English better than most? Most what? Migrant crop workers? The current King of Jordan speaks better English than Bush. Bush himself jokes that Arnold Schwarzenegger's English is better than his own.

well he speaks it; just not well. there are many people
out there who are just as bad, the difference is they
don't get elected. at least not usually.

The United States has no official language at the federal level (a few states have official state langauges). Approximately 336 languages are spoken by the population (spoken or signed) of which 176 are indigenous to the area. 52 languages formerly spoken in the country's territory are now extinct

If you look around here at Yahoo Answers for a bit, taking note of the stupid questions and sometimes even more idiotic answers, I think you've got a pretty good idea. These are probably the same people who voted for an American Idol winner, but did not vote for president.

There is no place for the word, “IF", in this subject. The Constitution of this country is not written in a foreign language, it is written in the Language of this Nation/Country.

The Bill of Rights is not written in a foreign Language, it is written in the Language of this nation/country.

The Declaration of Independence is not written in a foreign language, it is written in the language of this great Nation/Country.

George Washington’s army spoke only one language, the language of this country, The Confederate army spoke only one language, the language of this countries.

The American armies of world War One spoke one language,
the language of this country,

The American Army of World War spoke one language, the language of this country.

All of the dead veteran’s eulogies were spoken in one language
the language of this country. All documentation for bravery and sacrifice for them are written in one language, the language of this country.

This countries Passport has only two Words on it.
"American Passport” Not Spanish American. or Korean American, or Polish American.

And when you are put in jail or we execute you, It will be recorded in English, and if we chose to be sweet, kind, and nice, we might translate it into your foreign tongue.

Those Americans that have never contributed anything to this country know nothing of her history and for a vote would call into question the sovernty of this nation, GET OUT!

For you who came her begging to be allowed in, and have not bothered to learn this countries language, Get Out and go back where you came from! And those of you that illegally sneaked into this country - The only thing for you should be either a boot in your *** or jail.

ENGLISH is the Language of this NATION, And we ain't Gotta prove it to no one! Don’t go away mad, note the mistletoe on the back of my coattail and just git auta my face!

President Bush (it appears) speaks Spanish very well. I never hear him stutter or say "uh" (although I don't speak Spanish).

Too bad he doesn't speak his first language as well as his seconnd language.

He does. Obviously you haven't passed your English grammar classes in school so you don't understand the language when it is spoken by someone who is educated.
