ive seen the real people on a tv interview before. they seem to be really cool. i think they just wanted to do something different in the music industry and were very into animation. i personally feel that having cartoon band members is a fresh idea and i applaud them for doing something different. i actually liked the cartoon crib tour better than some of the actual ones. very creative.

Gorillaz are a virtual band, composed of four fictional animated band members: 2D, Murdoc, Noodle and Russel.

The band was created by Damon Albarn from the Britpop band Blur, and Jamie Hewlett, the co-creator of the comic book Tank Girl.

Van Halen...merely 'reason i'm no longer a fan. yet when we are going with bands i myself like... The Kinks. Punk rock develop into inspired with suggestions from them, so as that type ought to sound very diverse. We also does no longer have bands that posed as punk. Plus, for lack of a significantly better time period, the grimy sound of you somewhat were given Me's commencing guitar may no longer were got here upon (and if it develop into, likely no longer 'til later).

They probably don't want to get all sorts of unwanted publicity. They want to have good music careers, but not the paparazi that comes with it. keep their family life and career separate. when the public starts viewing your private life, all sorts of problems ensue. They are trying to prevent that. Kind of like slipknot, and why they wear masks (thought i'm not sure of the real reason slipknot wears masks)

I don't think so. It's part of their image. If they were seen in person, but not in their videos it may confuse people or start rants about which is better....I think it's pretty cool personally.

I THINK THEY USE CARTOONS SO THEY CAN DO WHAT THEY LOVE AND STILL DO WUT THEY LOVE.LIKE STILL BEING ABLE TO GO TO THEIR FAV HANGOUT SPOTS WITHOUT BRINGING TOO MUCH ATTENTION TO THEMSELVES.AND ONCE THEIR DONE WITH THE MUSIC THEY CAN STILL LIVE NORMAL LIVES.I COULD BE WRONG THOUGH.
