I am gay - I have several bisexual guy friends - - I am begining to notice they do not take care of their bodies like a gay man. They don't seem to do body hair maintenance, think about REALLY GOOD HYGEINE before sex, keep their nails cut and clean..that sort of stuff.

If you are a bisexual man do you find the women more concerned with this or the guys you see?

I think you need a bigger statistical sample than your "several bisexual guy friends." The pattern you describe might or might not be general. After all, the behaviors you designate as "taking care of bodies like a gay man" are hardly universal in gay male culture, right (for example, plenty of Bears out there might take issue with the reference to "body hair maintenance").

As a bi man, my observation is that many of us struggle to construct a sense of embodiment that captures our particular sexual identity. (This might or might not translate into some of the behaviors you mean, but it is more likely to refer to choices related to clothing, hair, and other metonymies of identity than what you describe as essentially hygienic practices.)

As a bisexual man, my perception is that there is great diversity in what the women I have known and the men I have known are looking for in a partner--but just as much diversity within each gender population as between the two.

I think in general these kinds of generalizations are unhelpful.

I keep everything neat and clean but girls like a lot of hair and my nails are always trimed but ladies seem more concerned about this. especially since I don't mess with rectums.

I am bi, but I usually lean towards guys. I keep all hair under control because its gross. I also like the guys to take care of themsleves. But to be honest most won't unless you bring up the subject. it could just be they never thought about it.

I'm no metrosexual, but I generally have good hygiene. Women seem to be more concerned with fashion (e.g., shoes) even more than gay men, which is stupid.
