Two choises shut it off open the door and let it dry out then calk it.
Or you might be able to use silicone caulking. (or silicone RTV)
You really should tak a look at the roof outside maybe it needs work? also when it rains the cold air can condense the moisture in the air making the freezer wet.

You can use a silicon caulk which is water resitant. I think it would be a good idea to defrost it first if you can. I understand this might not be the easiest thing if you have a lot of stuff in there but it's the best way. Defrost it, dry it, and then caulk it. You can get some bags of ice and put a few things in the tub in ice water and a few things in the sink the same way. That's about the best I can do for you. Good luck with it.

If it leaks water on the inside when it rains, it will be much more effective and long-lasting to caulk the outside. As a matter of fact, be very reluctant to caulk on the inside. Caulking on the inside will still allow the water to penetrate the shell and cause damage as it sits there.

If it leaks only when it rains there is more of a problem there. You need to seek out a roofer. if you caulk the inside the leak will still be there but it will leak into your walls. You need to have a complete inspection of the freezer, the walls & ceiling around it.

why won't it dry out? You need to use a silicone based caulking. They just did ours at work with some.
