I have alopecia and got a reaally bad hair cut. My bald spots are showing. I am a teacher at a local daycare. the children are not so nice and will tease me (yes, there teacher). I am curently wearing a bandana and would like to know if i can be fired for refusal to remove it?

It all depends on the color and the appropriateness of the bandanna. you know how people can be idiots. if your wearing a bandanna you must be in a gang or putting bad influences on their children. even though your not. So be careful. sometimes it's not just the children you have to worry about. hopefully your hair grows back fast

that really sucks. probably the bandanna is your best
bet. this might be a good time to teach the children
that it is not nice to make fun of people. they can never
learn too soon.

would they refuse to let you wear a bandana if you were going through chemo? You have a medical condition, and your bosses should be sensitive to that fact.
