Do u have a broadband connection and want 2 use Mozilla Firefox with blazing speed, Just check this out:
I Just tried this tricks and it really worked !!!
Really not joking.
There is a trick in Mozilla Firefox to increase
the speed of surfing [Not for downloading] by changing some of the values.
[Note:This only works for broadband users.]
------------------------------------------------------
::: Steps :::
1. Open mozilla firefox.
2. Type about:config in the address bar.
3. Edit the values as follows.
Name: Value
network.http.max-connections: 48
network.http.max-connections-per-server : 24
network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-proxy: 12
network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server: 6
network.http.pipelining: true
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests: 32
network.http.proxy.pipelining : true
After changing the values just close Firefox and open it again.
Enjoy greater speed! I am sure u will quit using internet explorer6 or any other crap.
[Idea: The idea is only that the default net-usage for windows is reduced.]
------------------------------------------------------
::: For Some More Information :::
Default Values are:
Name:Value
network.http.max-connections: 24
network.http.max-connections-per-server: 8
network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-proxy: 4
network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server: 2
network.http.pipelining: false
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests: 4
network.http.proxy.pipelining: false

Definitely firefox because it has less pop ups. I barely ever get any actually. However, because internet explorer has been around longer, its the dominant internet business, and it paid some sites to require internet explorer to access certain things such as video files or what not.

I personally like firefox because of its speed, lesser pop ups, option to reset every thing with 1 click, and its stable but then there are a few sites that do not offer their full features like videos, java items etc on any browser othe rthan IE. I, therefore, have both installed on my computers.
