I had a 93' Peugeot 106 1.1 XN, and at 115k Miles I had to replace the whole clutch assembely, and the parts cost £83. After an hour of going round different car part suppliers, The prices varied from £177-£83 So shop around. Garages all charge different amounts for Labour so shop around there too. I paid £145 in total, and remember it will be snappy for a while as its new. Good luck.

dont trust em ..get a second opinion.clutch calble break all the time but it doesnt damage your clutch at all.maybe they are telling the truth but fri me thats expensive....clutch will cost them about 50 ish pounds for LUK.so that leaves you with fitting time which works out at about 60 pounds per hr labour..?? if you were in leeds i could get it done for 50 fitting plus cost of clutch but you are not so too bad

Maybe the high cost is simply because the garage doesn't want to take another French prisoner.
