Open Internet Explorer
Click on Tools Drop-down menu at the top
Select "Internet Options"
In the dead-center of the "General" tab should be "Delete Files"

Once you click it and confirm your desire, this will delete your Temp. Internet Files.

(Performed on Windows XP. MUCH older versions may vary)

Mostly you do it by opening internet explorer (IE),
Tools
Internet Options
Delete Files
also better if you delete cookies too.
click ok and close IE

Some temp files do stay in your computer, to delete those too, click on Start
click Run
and in the small white stipe, type prefetch
click ok
a new screen will appear with all the temp files shown, click in the right side portion and select all (Ctrl+A),
Press delete on your key board.
