If you have a garbage disposal try putting orange peels in the drain and turning it on. The oil in the orange peels will freshen it up. If the smell still persist you might have a clog from the drain coming in from the other side of your sink. If this is the case get some liquid Draino and clear out the clog.

Try pouring a small box of baking soda down the drain, then rinse with hot water. Baking soda is a good remedy for odors.

A little baking soda AND THEN...vinegar. The two together create a fizzy reaction and the bubbles clean their way down the drain.

Let the water run awhile. Some water will stay in the trap in the bottom of the pipe, let it run awhile to flush this completely out. Then try vinegar or bleach again.

I ALWAYS pour some dawn dish liquid in there with hot water and run the disposal..."dawn takes grease out of your way"
I'd put sour milk in the toilet next time.

You must have a garbage disposal. They sell these marble sized balls with like lemon oil in them that you can put in the drain, run the disposal, and it freshens up nicely.

Bleach and run water after letting bleach soak in drain for a while.
(make sure you don't have any other cleaners in there first!)
