How do I get my idea for a personal hygiene product to a large company?

I have an incredible idea that I would like to have a large corporation look at. It's something that almost every home needs, but they don't know that they need it. How do I sell this idea? I would like to sell it to a large company like Proctor & Gamble or Lever Brothers.

first CHECK GOOGLE because getting an invention out there costs money and you don't want to waste it if your invention has already been invented!!

First, get a patent on the product. Then hit the pavement, knocking on doors. You need to know and understand the cost of manufacturing, etc. Must have a full blown presentation.

You need to protect yourself about an "idea"...because ideas can be changed and improved upon and you are left out of the profits.

first get a patent, so no one can steal your idea, or you are stealing no ones idea then start contacting the companies and selling the product. you might want to start small with start-ups or others, bnecasue once there is a market demand for the product the bigger companies will be more likely to buy it.

Get a lawyer. A company will say they're not interested and then flat-out steal your idea. Make sure you have yourself protected before you talk to any corporation.
