You don't get an option at work or about their health: you must listen, take criticism and learn. You are most certainly not the only person who sees this as a valid part of her life.

advice and or constructive criticism are not Ideas a lot of people like to accept, most people today only see and hear what they want to see or hear and truth is not one of them blind faith is simply denial it runs rancid in our domestic society today you can literally see it every where, people do not use a lot of common sense in their daily lives any more they are bombarded by politicians and preachers educators telling them come to my church or your kid is bad or vote for me I will show you the right way, people have simply given all their power away to those institutions and in turn have become nothing but pawns used at their discretion, and until people take back their own power we will continue to see this trend, hope they wake up and smell the roses soon I'm sure God dose to. I am glad you take advice and criticism seriously it is a part of our learning it dose make us better people because we do learn from it.

well, you also have to be able to stand back and take a critical look at the criticism, as well (I know that sounds kinda convoluted, but...)
not all advice is necessarily going to be honest-to-goodness good advice. it may come from someone whose had a bad hand in life and -is- speaking from experience, but from a much harsher experience than you may ever have to face. some people like to critisize to get a rise out of others, some do it to better you, some do it even when you don't need it, but all in all...
if you see it as good advice, then there's nothing wrong with taking it- just know that advise always comes from someone's personal experience, and everyone's personal experience can differ greatly.

Advice is only that - advice. It is not an order nor is it compulsory. It is just another persons experience. You learn through your own experience. Other peoples advice is not necessarily what's right for you

As long as it's from a knowledgeable source, then yes, I welcome it too as an essential part of learning. But some people are unteachable and prefer to make their own mistakes.
FYI should be 'accept' not 'except'
'my learning' not 'me learning'
'way' of life
and use the spell check ;-P

most of those you find in yahoo answers dont value the advice. they just want to have fun riddling others. you may be part of the simple few who value others and what they have to say
