Well it could just be the various medicines all wrecking havoc on her period, or if she is hanging aorund different women than before her period could be waiting for thiers (I know that sounds odd but it is true, womens periods like to fall at the same time....) The best answer is to look up the side effects of the medicines (including the birth control) she was/is taking. Poke aorund on google and see if anyone else had these problems taking these meds or these meds together. Also see a docter and when you do either take all the medication she was taking with you or at least what each one was (not pain killers but the technical name), This should help the doctor in figuring out what could be wrong, also how old is your wife? Could she be going through menapause? Could she just be getting a new cycle due to a young age (some people I know only get thiers every few months for whatever reason), its unique for each woman. So see a doctor for sure and make sure they know what each and every drug was that went into her body (even cough syrup has side effects think about what she took).

Well your best solution is to go and see an OBGYN and have them look at her because she has been on the pill for so long it will take longer for it to leave her system, this could also cause her to have a missed period as well, be to be on the safe side and make sure that there is defiantly nothing wrong with her I would go see the OB just as a precautionary measure ok

Hmmm. She doesn't sound pregnant to me. Could be that the antibiotics are interfering with the contraceptives. But then again, I'm no doctor. If you stop going to doctors just because you're fed up with them, you aren't going to get any answers. Your wife could really be sick, so don't take any chances. Keep trying different doctors until you find one who will figure out what's wrong. You will never get the correct information from Yahoo Answers.

She needs to go to her ob/gyn. Though its not unusual for periods to become irregular with some pills, especially if a person has been taking them for a long time.
The pills are really not healthy for a woman to be on for a long time. Maybe she should give her body a rest and you guys can use some other methods of birth control.

If your gf isnt pregnant and she isnt getting a period, then maybe she should come off the pill for a time. You are meant to take a break anyway to let your body get back to its original state. If this doesnt work, then i know you dont want to hear it, but maybe her Dr could refer her to a specialist. (stress and a bad diet can also interupt a cycle also)
Hope this helped!

Contraceptive pills are harmful no matter what.
Tell her not to take them.
Find a doctor who will prescribe a progesterone cream for the periods.

I know you said don't say go to a doctor but that's what we have to suggest whether you like it or not. You aren't going to find someone (especially on yahoo) who would know better than a doctor! Have her specifically go to the Ob/Gyn.

I don't think taking pills like that for that long of a time is healthy for the body. Couldn't you just shoot it other places?
