I think a man can stop if they are truly willing to make the relationship with the person they were already with work, however, that is not always the case, sometimes once a cheater, always a cheater. Only the other person in the relationship can decide whether staying is the best choice or not. For example, my uncle cheated on my aunt a few times, they were going through a rough time, but that is still no excuse..now a days they go to marriage counseling through their church and their relationship is pretty good, but no matter what that fear of being on cheated on is still in the back of her mind...so as I said, it is up to the person who is being cheated on to decide if the relationship can work.

in some cases a man who has cheated in prior relationships and got caught, maybe they'll stop cheating. if they have learned there lesson and had a bitter break up most likely if he has matured he won't cheat any more. if he keeps up the known sense he better have some kind of cheating disease or else!!

If you believe cheating is a disease, then you need help! Anyone can stop cheating...if they want to. Maybe this MAN doesn't want to stop!

I think he can stop if he wanted to. I don't think it's a disease. They do say there are sex addicts. But most of the time, the men are just down right sorry instead of a addict.

I believe he can stop if he's only cheated once, if you have caught him more than once then he and you have a problem him for cheating and you for not getting out.

he can stop but sorry to say it won't be with you. If someone cheats on you then they'll continue to cheat on you they will stop when they find someone they actually want to stop for no matter how much they say they love you. You aren't the one.

He CAN stop - thru discipline, self control, and obedience to Christ. It is also a disease - it is called sin. We are all born with this disease. It causes us to do many bad things.

It is not a disease. It is a lack of maturity and self-control.
