I consider it...and sometimes it is just a matter of agreeing to disagree. No screaming and yells just nice conversation....no bashing...

I consider other people's pov all the time. That doesn't mean I have to accept it....just respect it. When someone has a differing pov, I try to understand it and see if there is any possible way to relate to it. If i can't, then I chalk it up to "we'll have to agree to disagree" and then go on about my business. What a boring world this would be if everyone thought and felt the same about everything. Just as you don't have to see the world through my eyes, I don't have to see it the same exact way that you do. I do, however, have to respect what you think and believe. All the lgbt community is asking is for the same treatment.

Mostly gay/lesbian's ask for a POV. Otherwise we really aren't interested in hearing opinions on something that someone else know's nothing about...

But of course! The only problem they have is with the people whose POV is founded on ignorance of the topic they are debating.

Same as everyone else.

Sure. I also know gay men who live entirely enclosed lives so they won't offend any of the homophobes who hate them.

On the other hand, how many homophobes do you know that will consider anyone else's point of view????

BTW -- what do you mean by "consider anyone else's POV?" exactly????

Email me if you want to talk.

I'm almost always happy to dialogue with someone who's willing to have a rational conversation. Problem is...I don't run across that too often. Sounds like there's problems with that from both sides?

yes, I can consider other people's points of view about all sorts of topice. However, what I don't consider is those who tell me my life is my "choice" or the "god does not love me" or "my life is a sin"
