I see many statements on here from women like - "ewww, this 40+ guy just told me I was hot" or "Yuck - some guy 10 years older than me told me my picture was beautiful."

Admittedly, that can be somewhat unnerving. I get a similar comment from my 15-year old niece when she wears short skirts and tight tops. "I can't believe some guys look at me like that."

Women, do you honestly and truly believe that when you wear clothes that are extremely revealing, you will attract (only) hot guys your own age? Are you aware that nearly every man who is between age 14 and 70 (and maybe more) that sees you when you are dressed sexually, will react to you sexually, to a greater or lesser extent?

Just curious?

When a woman dresses provocatively, she is doing it to garner admiring looks. Sometimes we dress to compete with our girlfriends... to try and trump each other, but if we're honest about it we'll admit that we're dressing to attract men.

We do, however reserve the right to be selective about how we respond to those looks, comments and advances. It's broad spectrum bait and some of the catch is going to get thrown back.

Many of us can be less than polite during the "catch and release" process. Particularly with older men... definitely with much older men. Not all of us want to be trophy wives with sugar daddies.

If you see a much older guy with a very young woman there are very few possibilities that explain this May/December pairing... one or both of them has mental issues (she didn't have a father figure growing up... he has Lolita fantasies or a Pygmalion complex)... and/or he's rich.

You are right but these are girls/children and no matter what, these men who are older than these girls and know their age are in the wrong.

Teenagers dress sexy because their children and children emulate what they see. (and it's not a good thing but it's not new) So they behave this way while their brain struggles to catch up with their maturing bodies.

The men who say these things or gawk at them knowing outright how old they are are the ones who should be asked this question. Some men are perverts no matter what and will look at a kid and fantasize whether she's 2 or 16. That's not good no because they're kids.

Personally, I've never looked at a 16 year old boy or a teen at all(and i'm 24) and said, "DAMN! He looks HOT!". I don't care what he is wearing.

The way I see it, if a man wouldn't want anyone looking at his kid in that manner (if a minor) then DON'T LOOK AT SOMEONE ELSE'S.

Well according to my observation in class. Most girls dress revealingly to attract men's attention of the same age. And revealing clothes adds extra points when flirting with your target.

Lolz thats already a fact ^o^

Well I don't really know how it feels like cuz I don't wear revealing clothes, like hello? What for? So you can provoke horny men while walking along side the street. Besides I don't like to flirt physically, it feels so low.

Even when I'm wearing my school uniform (my skirt reaches my ankles xD) I still get whisteled at by men wayy older than me. And i admit it does make me disgusted a bit, but I'm glad they were talking about my simple features such as my face and my body frame(skeletal).

Haha, I am aware of this! I am flattered when any many looks at me..I would hate to never catch a look. However, I would rather a certain type of man be attracted to me..this even includes men who are in their 20's, 30's and 40's (Im 20)

You know, I would assume that women know that, but they don't. I rarely wear revealing clothing, so when I do, I know I am getting looked at, and when I get the occasional comment, I'm at the age where I'm glad its a compliment and not a request to put on something else. haha ha

The sad thing is perhaps they don't know how to handle the attention or how to put something else on if they don't like it.

It doesn't bother me how old the person who is complementing me is. Sometimes I get hit on by 18yr olds and sometimes by 40+. Rarely, from any that are 60+ though, unless they look young for their age and I just don't know it.

I'm aware of it, which is precisely why I have always dressed conservatively. :)

Conservative hottie... it's possible. Just look at me. ;)

(I'm not really this conceited... just want to say that it's possible to be 'hot' without flashing everybody.)

Girls that say things like that are probably teeny-boppers and are just saying it to let people know that someone thought that they was hott.....don't read to much into it, most women aren't that way.
