no, your are being obessive. many people don't reply at all, they like talking in person, that doesn't make either of you wrong. Lower your expectaions of people and relax more or you will drive people away, people are uncomfortable with being someone that is being needy. You will be happier if you just except the fact that your friend doesn't do email very well. It pushes people away. Besides, blaming yourself isn't the answer, ask yourself what you learned about yourself beacause you over did it. Life is a great big challenge, now move on the next one.
