About a year ago, I used to love pink and girly frilly stuff. Now, suddenly I love Invader Zim, Johnny the Homicidal Maniac comics, and I want my room to be repainted black/red. Right now it's pink/purple. I used to wear tons of pink, purple, rainbow, etc, but now I only feel like wearing red/black/green. Other colors on rare occasions. My friends say I'm 'going goth'. Do you agree?

I don't act like most people would call 'goth', I'm actually very hyper. I just like to dress in black/red/green and watch/read Gothic type things.

I don't really /want/ to be Goth, but my friends all say I'm dressing like it. I've even filled up 3 Hot Topic frequent shoppers cards. D:

I think Goth is just a really general term. It sounds like you're definitely more Gothic now. Don't stress how they feel - just be you.

if you have to ask, and you're using a phrase like 'going goth' then absolutely not. and just because you like black and watch invader zim doesn't make you goth. i happen to love both and i'm certainly not goth. see the link below for the origins of goth.
