I recently work for Avon at the vitality show in london and i was really pleased witht the effect i got from one of their products its an eyeshadow in pencil form and comes in 4 colours they are called "colour clearly shadowed satin eye colour" i recommend the pearl or the moonshine colours these will give you a shimmery shine to your eyes you can also use them to highlight they are £5 each and they are available online hope this helps.

You can use any colour, but golds and silvers usually make up shimmery eye shadows.

Urban Decay, BarryM have some great glitter!
I use Loreal and this particular gold shade seems to shimmer like no other eyeshadow, everyone always compliments me on it. They ask where i got it from but i don't tell them as i don't want them to have it, so you must feel special as i'm telling you lol.

If you've got dark skin golds will look great on you, it'll be flattering against your skin tone.

If you've got a lighter skin tone maybe try blues and purples, but mix thees colours with different shades.

;-)

Hiya

try any metallic eyeshadows, I love benefit show offs but there are loads on the market. Mac do some lovely ones, or your could try the shimmer cubes from the body shop which ar about £10 for four different colours. Finally try www.barrym.co.uk for some fab anfd funky colours from lime greem to silver and everthing inbetween. Or I nearly forgot you can try to mix any eyeshadow with a tiny bit of vaseline and it makes a lovely sheen rather than full on glitter

Start with a light silver / gold colour.
Then apply the colour of the eyeshadow on top.
Once the different eyeshadow colours combine, your eyes will look shimmery.
If you want your eye shadow to last all day, apply a bit of Vaseline to the eye lid and then apply the colour.
I brought some great eye shadows from

Golden or bronz, Try the MAC pigment eye shadow...It's great it is very shimmery and they have it in many colors. You can find it at many of the department stores that have cosmetic coutners... Like Nordstrom or Macy's. It also lasts for a long time and you do not have to re-apply too often.

Medal Colours.

Gold, Silver or bronze.

Or metallic colours. Like pink, yellow, blue, etc.

Point to note though.

If you're of a lighter skin colour and applying shadows after putting your foundation, please do not use colours like pale gold or pale bronze. Especially when you intend to take pictures later on.

This is because you eye area will appear as though you've forgotten to put on your foundation around the eye area. I've seen it happen to my friends and its really an eye sore.

If you wanna make it dark, use a immediate dark colour, like purple or something... If its too dark for you, blend it with your silver at beginning of your eye. it will definitely make a more interesting shade and shimmer to look at.
